Abortion should have never been Legalized

Between the ages of 13-18 teens years of ages parents should stress abstinence. Senior Sierra Blagman and Shayira at Parkway West High School on 4/13/12 Health Fair at Parkway took place, both students stressed the dislike of abortion. Abortion, by having abortions it hurts the person physically and mentally. No one listens when people say its a life lost. In 1973 abortion was legalized. The statistics say 50,000,000 unborn children lost to abortion. There are many programs to help prevent pregnancy in young women. One of these programs is Youth Empowerment Program on Broad street JFK building on the 9th floor. 


Here is a interview with Senior Shayira and she said, "the research was a success, because I got my fellow students involved and I spread the word."
She also said,"the research was a failure because I didn't get all the information I wanted."


Sierra Blagman did the same research paper and had the same point of view on abortion.


Life begins when your a fetus. When a young girl gets pregnant she only thinks of one way things can become right and that is abortion. There are so many options for their baby , one is adoption, and another is you can give your baby to the hospital once its born and they will keep it for one year and take care of it but when that year is up they will give the baby to the adoption agencies. Abortion is the highest death rate riding on 14.5 million. 


This is what Senior Sierra Blagman said, "I believe abortion should be illegal in the United States."


For both girls there last comment was ,"abortion is unfair to the unborn."


ABORTION is a murder that is unaccounted for the people that do it should be in jail just like any other murders.

Killer Found!!!!!!!!!!

The killer has been found.Jennifer Hudson's family killer has finally been found. The murder trial begun on Monday, April 9,2012. It is very hard for the justice system to find people who won't be persuaded by her popularity. Jennifer Hudson has felt pain for quit a while but when this trial starts she plans on being there everyday. Jennifer is one of 300 possible witnesses according to www.cbsnews.com . Jennifer Hudson is being told that she must not show facial feelings in court while court is in session . They only say this because they think that it will coarse the jurors. Most of these potential jurors say they don't care about her popularity and they can judged the murder accordingly. The killer of Jennifer Hudson's family is Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister.

This killing is not right but I hope that he will be prosecuted for what he has done. Go to hudson family killerto find out the whole story. Jennifer's family did not deserve what happened to them. I hope Hudson is okay but life can change in a instance , and you just have to deal with it. So court has started and will go on for 36 weeks. Hudson and many others may have to talk in court, even if justice isn't served God will make sure things will happen that should happen. Many feel the pain that of this families death , but it seems as though their trying to take this serious but it seems as though this trial may not make it far.

Chocolate bad or good!

According to losing weight while eating chocoalateThere is new research on the stages of chocolate making you skinny. How is this so ,because as research has identified that if you consume alot of chocolate and not slow your eating it down. But it seems drastic that chocolate can make you skinny. 


Every year they tell us that eating to much sweets can give us sick or diabetics etc. But lets look at it this way if you eat a lot of it then your metabolism quickens and you loose weight. They are telling us that its not about eating a certain chocolate but how much you consume. There telling us for diabetics that it will help us regulate our diabetes better, we will consume our insulin more securely while that will bring our sugars down. Dark chocolate is the better choice though because it is made of pure chocolate and much of nothing else. The more chocolate you ate the more calories you intake but that didn't ruin anything. You don't have to intake alot of chocolate in one sitting but you have to eat a little everyday. The chocolate companies did not to a testing on this they just made the chocolate. 


Students at my school thinks that the take on chocolate is this, 1. People think that it is not true in many ways. We don't think that in taking chocolate as they will help us.2 Chocolate is bad for you. How is chocolate going to make us skinny. The only good thing in chocolate is the cocoa.3 No, I think that chocolate makes you fatter because of the per taking of the sugar.

Most Births Outside Marriage

Two writers by the name of Joan Deparle and Sabrina Tavernise wrote a article by the title of "For Women Under 30 ,Most Births Occur Outside Marriage". This article talks of how that most women under 30 about 41% in 2009,are having children before marriage and most of them are single mothers on there own.most of this is happening in Middle America. 


There use to be a time when men and women would not have sexual relations until they were married. A book named "Coming Apart " by a author named Charles Murray who as we know is a critic of non marital births. H e has come up with statistics that states 73% of black , 53% of Latino, and 29% of white  children are born outside of marriage. I think that this trend of having children before marriage ruins the life of the children you bring into this world. This child is going to go through trauma because she/he will see so many children with two parents and she will start to wonder why she/he has only one parent. when you explain ,it will make them wonder is it my fault my parent left me. These questions will start a snow ball affect of disappointment of their life. 


I think that my parents being married or unmarried really doesn't make much of a difference in any case. I was raised fine and I don't think it could be better or worse. I expect to get get married. I want to have a family, but the right way. I am going to wait to have children until I get married, because no kid is secured to do what is right if things aren't right when life started before them.

The Biggest Oil Spill in U.S. History

The biggest oil spill in U.S. history,has started to be dealt with. They been trying to settle this with a settlement. The oil spill covered oil of the Gulf of Mexico along the water ways.

The BP is expecting to pay out 7.8 billion to cover the spill. People that live along the Gulf of Mexico are waiting to be paid for the damages of there resources, and if they don't think their paid enough they can sue. There was a settlement on Friday by the BP and everyone knows not the end. The soucre on CBS.com has said "The U.S. is trying to help the 5 states of the Gulf to make sure any damage claims that have been field are somehow restored for the benefit of the Gulf people."In August 2010 the people started to either get their money directly from BP on Feinburg run fund. The Feinburg Run Fund had $20 billion for it to be able to pay off individuals, businesses, environmental damage, and state and local response cost.

This spill managed to destroy many such as beaches, killed wildlife, and closed fishing areas. Many people sued like fishermen, cleanup workers , and others. These people either got sick , jobs were destroyed, and claimed harm from the spill in April 20,2010 gulf disaster. This happened one of the largest class action settlement. This spill was uncalled for it should have everyone running for  cover because the whole companying is to blame. The resources of these people have been destroyed, and they just want what they deserve. 

FACEBOOK IS USING YOU

Lori Andrews article "Facebook is using you"tells how people people are sending,searching,and emailing on the computer is now profiling you by what you do on the Internet.People that don't know you are that are across the Internet ,now can determine you by what you do on the Internet.There using what you do and making profile of you for them and everyone else.

Before I read this article  Facebook is using you I thought this, I don't worry because I don't think anybody would want to black mail me. I always have some information that could ruin the person who is trying to ruin me.So, sending messages  I never really send anything personal, and if I did I know that they're trusting and wouldn't let it out. So to conclude , messaging isn't a big deal to me I don't think my stuff will be revealed.

But after reading this article it surprised me that this could be.

And after this was my train of thought, I am a little worried and I still don't do anything incriminating. But the only thing that worries me more is that they can find my addresses, numbers, and anything for that matter.I didn't ever think that what I do on the Internet defines me as a person. How can Facebook have the right to do what they are doing I do not agree how things are being done. But incriminating yourself who would have ever thought you could do it to yourself . BUT IT MAY NOT BE SAFE!

So I'm telling everybody don't be afraid but watch what you dooooooo.

Students at Penn State Raise Money for Pediatric Cancer Patients

The weekend of 2/17/12 Penn state hosted a dance marathon.They raised 10.68M for pediatric cancer patients.Penn state host this annual dance marathon every year.Last year they pulled in 9.5 M which was a record.The students call what they host a "THON". Paterno's son,Jay had encouraging words for the students in the "Thon" which informed them to not look at the Sex Scandal people put on the school but instead look at the positive things they have done.


But I think that all the positive stuff they have doesn't matter in the cities eyes when a scandal is under way. And what a scandal it was!


PSU students have done great for their school and they always keep succeeding , it seems as though whatever they do they never fail and that makes them great in the peoples eyes.As long as they do what is needed no one can say anything unperturbed about their school.

The students at PSU should be so honored that they have raised so much for these cancer patients.The schools news in the last few months should not be used to show who they really are.I still look at this school  for all the work they have done.they are always  working for the people of the world.I like the way they do things.I would be so proud if my school would do the same . PSU DANCE THON RAISES 10.68M.

so we should all be cheering them.They have achieved greatness.


Greatness can always be achieved, but it takes very determined people to do it!
